Big Brandy Font Review

I’ve worked with a lot of fonts in my design journey, but Big Brandy is a unique one. Here’s my honest take on it.

What works well ✨

• Playful feel: Big Brandy has a quirky, hand-drawn quality that’s perfect for adding some whimsy to your designs.
• Wide character set: The font includes a wide range of characters, including accented letters and symbols, making it versatile for different languages.
• Customizable: Big Brandy can be easily customized to fit your brand’s tone and style, which is a big plus.

Limitations ⚠️

• Limited legibility: Big Brandy’s irregular shape and loose connections can make it difficult to read at small sizes or in certain contexts.
• Lack of consistency: The font’s irregularities can also lead to inconsistent spacing and kerning, which can be jarring to the eye.
• Not ideal for body text: Due to its playful nature, Big Brandy is better suited for headings and titles rather than body text.

Overall, Big Brandy is a fun and creative font that’s perfect for adding a touch of personality to your designs. However, it’s not the best choice for body text or situations where readability is crucial. Use it sparingly and strategically, and you’ll get the most out of this quirky font.
