Aurel Smith Font Review

I recently had the chance to work with the Aurel Smith font, and I must say it’s a unique and intriguing choice. ✨ Here are some aspects that really stood out to me:

• Unique style: The font’s eclectic mix of modern and vintage elements makes it perfect for designers looking to add a touch of personality to their projects.
• High-quality glyphs: The font’s glyphs are well-designed and well-crafted, making it a joy to work with.
• Excellent legibility: Despite its unconventional style, the font is remarkably easy to read, even at smaller font sizes.

However, there are a few limitations that might make it less suitable for certain projects:

• Restricted font sizes: While the font is legible at smaller sizes, it’s not the most suitable choice for large headings or titles.
• Limited font weights: The font only comes in a few weights, which might limit its versatility in certain design contexts.
• Not suitable for body text: Due to its unique style and limited font weights, I wouldn’t recommend using Aurel Smith as a primary font for body text.

Overall, I think Aurel Smith is a fantastic choice for designers who want to add some personality to their projects. It’s a great option for titles, headings, and other design elements where a unique style can shine. However, it’s not a replacement for a solid, versatile font family.
